Opened for summer 2015, in celebration of Peggy’s life and to raise £580 for Dementia UK.
Millhouse both designed and built this garden for Peggy’s sister Diana. Diana wanted a beautiful garden dedicated to her late sister who sadly passed away in 2014.
Because this was a long thin garden we broke it down into four distinct areas. The main sitting area/patio by house, central lawn and secondary sitting areas under pergola and screening trellis.
This in turn led through a series of Rose arches into a woodland garden and finally onto gravel utility and storage area. All had to be linked with safe pedestrian access at all times.
Mixed planting included Hydrangea, Viburnum, Choisya, Sarcococca together with climbing Roses, Honeysuckle, Jasmine and Wisteria over wooded structures.
Mixed fruit trees were planted through gravel to rear utility area.
Thank you everyone in Breadhust for your help in arranging such a perfect summers day!
