January is always a quiet month for the garden design and landscaping industry, however we are still beginning some exciting local projects. Here are some pictures from the very start of the most recent – a complete garden makeover in central Sevenoaks.

We begin by clearing out all the existing landscaping, saving all the good stone and paving to face the new wall and construct new steps down from the main path.

Next, we will construct a new compost area and prepare the soil ready to plant a selection of mixed fruit trees to create an ‘ornamental orchard’.

The fruit trees will be sown underneath with a wildflower grass seed mixture to the margins & we will be regularly cutting certain areas in order to create grass service paths through the wildflowers and fruit trees.
