For this project, we were brought in to add landscaping features to the surrounding area of a recently constructed outdoor swimming pool, at a property in the beautiful village of Charing.

     We built raised planted beds, added interest to the paving by breaking it up with Millboard decking and a raised seating area. This was surrounded by an ornamental pool and outdoor fireplace and log store as a focal point for the seating area.Â

      Originally there was an overgrown bank to the South side of the property. This we terraced using timber sleepers and low Yew hedging to give a graduated effect. At the face of each terrace we planted a mix of perennials and herbaceous planting, such as Geraniums, Alliums, Lavender, Alchemilla, Verbena and Stipa’s. Also included were some Spring bulbs and evergreen Box balls for structure.Â
