Ashdown Forest, East Sussex
- Previous Client asked us to both design and refurbish surrounds to swimming pool.
- Swimming Pool is set next to tennis court in a semi-woodland setting.
- We proposed to remove old concrete slabs to surrounds, together with old pool room and decking and replace with a more contemporary design using natural Shot Sawn Yorkstone paving from Yorkshire, hardwood decking to two sides of pool, and separate ‘lounging area’, plus the inclusion of bespoke Oak and smoked glass pool room.
- All the above was softened by the introduction of wild flower turf and indigenous plantings of Silver Birch and Rhododendrons to surrounds.
- The project was started Autumn of last year and the latest photos taken early summer this year.
